We have despatched thousands of Covid testing kits to our Client’s customers to enable them to visit countries worldwide where a recent negative Covid test is required for entry. How did you keep your kids amused during lockdown? Our customer KeepEmQuiet had the answer. KeepEmQuiet specialises in providing entertainment packs crammed full of exciting surprises for children to discover and to keep them amused on flights. Surely lockdown and no flights would be a disaster. Absolutely not Daniel and his team adapted and viewed lockdown as one long flight and made it their mission to KeepEmQuiet at home during lockdown and entertained. Supported by CDL at our Woolwich warehouse KeepEmQuiet sent out thousands of packs to keep our little ones entertained and away from those screens! KeepEmQuiet and CDL stand ready to do the same for this Xmas and in to 2021 when hopefully we can all fly away to the beach!

As a 3PL CDL Logistics was classified as an essential business during the current pandemic and our storage and fulfilment warehouses have remained open throughout 2020. This has been an immense challenge to ensure that we keep our staff safe, through a combination of providing PPE & sanitizer (remember trying to get hold of these in March!!!) and safe socially distanced working practices, as well as supporting our customers’ during these challenging times to ensure they can continue to trade. During lockdown our Uckfield warehouse has kept us fit and our beloved pets fed. We store and fulfil products for both a mini trampoline keep fit business and an organic pet food business. During lockdown these businesses provided both fun exercise equipment and healthy foods for our pets via Covid safe home delivery. We of course are certified by the Soil Association for the safe storage of organic products.

In a time where preserving the environment is paramount, it seems many have taken Who gives a crap close to their bum, by opting to use their 100% recycled toilet roll. KeepEmQuite have already taken flight, after winning the 2016 Small Business Sunday competition on Twitter, 2017 saw them become a Thomas Cook stockist. In our continued commitment to our Medical customers we have further developed our MHRA offering at our Flagship Warehouse, at an investment cost of over £55,000 we have designed and fitted a evaporative cooling system into our warehouse in SE18, this system allows us to maintain a temperature within the site between 15°C and 25°C at all times, also the relative humidity is kept with 40 to 60%, a requirement of many of the more sensitive and costly pharmaceuticals.
